So,the weekend is past(well,i only kind of realised it today)...what a weekend!Ishwin and Neelesh,my s'porean buddies came to visit.I hope they had as much fun as I did.I'm pretty sure they did!It was great to hang out with them again..it was pretty much like Singapore all over again,just much colder!It was a whole weekend of alcoholic hedony!Over what we here call Raisin Weekend,the whole town descends into a pit of mass alcoholism...thankfully,we were ok at the end of it!So,if any of y'all intend to ever visit,next yr around this time would be good,seeing as how it'll be my last yr and all!
Anyhow,today's been good.Had an amazing anthropology class on kinship today and received a free signed cd I won from mixmag(not whilst sat in class of course)...it's insane hard trance!!!Do look out for Cally and Juice(the 2 blokes whose cd I won),they are huge in clubland at the moment...I very much doubt that these guys will be visiting the folk of sunny singapore any time soon,what with hard dance being so unpopular there.......shame!

Argh,this putting-images-up-on-website-thingy is getting me down.It isn't as easy as I thought.Where are my powers of IT when I need them?!I am going to have to call on my trustworthy mate,the tick(yes,u,jon!) to help me out...in the meantime,stay entertained by reading about my adventures and not seeing them!
p.s...why is it that the telly always has rubbish on when u really want to watch some quality programmes?If you can answer this question,u obviously deserve a pat on the back,which I will be happy to administer.

Fantastic. Scotland beat Holland 1-0 in the footie and England beat those frogs in the Rugby today.Oh,it's all good.
Just had a thought though,when the next rugby world cup comes around,I'll be 26 yrs old!Oh my, only God knows what I'll be doing or where I'll be then.Yikes...I can't bear to think of myself at 26...it's too painful!!!!I might have to go to the pub to console myself.......*grin*

I'm back!Did u miss me?Well,I wouldn't know so I'll take it that u did.Cardiff was brilliant.Fi's got a cool bunch of mates and her little niece was such fun to play with!And bowling,oh my god,it's been what,possibly about half a decade since last I bowled but I did pretty ok and this bowling alley we went to was brilliant.It was called ROYWORLD(what a name eh?) and there was a bar inside and lots of UV lighting and the balls glowed fluorescent this and that!It was very surreal, the separate activities of bowling and clubbing coming together in a very funny package..the music was shite for most of the time we were there though. I must also give "props" to some of the Cardiff homegrown we had the privilege of getting our hands on!Very nice it was!I went to Bristol too for a day and met up with the Lynwood which was good...the only bad part of the whole trip was the train journey there and back.The British train system is more than shite.It's just wrong..thank goodness for patience which I am proud to have as a virtue of mine(modesty so blatantly isn't one of my virtues though).

Oh!Reading week is upon us.TGIF and all that!I'm off to cardiff tomorrow to visit my lovely flatmate,Fi!I cannot wait,I just need to get out of this town...What i'm not looking forward to though is the 9-hr train ride...that is going to involve consuming copious amounts of whiskey the likes of which,fortunately,fi seems to have gotten her hands on!Hurrah!Roll on Cardiff!

the Matrix was just MAD...goodness me,what a movie eh?Oh,I wish I had "Neo-Vision" than maybe things would seem a bit "brighter"!Apart from that,I came home after the movie to a flat full of people,it was a very nice surprise indeed...lotsa folk just sat about talking about random nonsense.How I love sitting about,doing nothing..it's the simple pleasures in life that give meaning to it....I think.

I wish I was a l'il bit mo' IT savvy.I would like very much to post some pictures up on this blog but am having difficulty doing so.Till then,I'm just going to have to charm y'all with my written word...oh me oh my,winter depression is well and truly kicking in.For those who don't quite know what I'm talking abt,it's somewhat like being on a comedown,and for those who still don't know what I'm talking about,you need to GET OUT MORE!!!It's getting dark at like,4-ish pm and the worst thing is that it is going to get worse...yikes!I am going to have to start visiting the wee tanning salon soon....

Man,it has been the longest time since I last felt like I've truly connected with another person. I did 2 nights ago.Over anthropology of all things.It was the weirdest feeling ever to discuss my degree subject of all things and at the same time sit there,completely mesmerised/hypnotised by something in her eyes.I can't explain it....it was one of those meaningful chats which left me feeling like I'd bonded with her...she said things which I'd had in my head or didn't even know were there(in my head) but were.PHEW!...all is as it was though,i'm back alone and without.

My goodness,i feel more well-fed than I have in ages.Today being Sam's(my flatmate and one of my best friends) birthday,we had arguably the best fish and chips in Britain today.Yesterday,we had Thai and Italian food(and lotsa champagne!). And later tonight,it'll be a potluck,buffet stylee type thing going on at ours!oh,it feels so good to eat well....I wish I could eat like this everyday!!
