I know, I know. I've not blogged in ages. Sorry for the long silence. I've been rather busy and I've not really felt the need to blog at all. Still, it is New Year's Eve and I feel it important to look back upon the last year (2007 has been a very eventful year for Tim indeed) dram of whisky in hand (or not), and reflect upon the year that's just gone by (in the 3rd person).

I've got to go out for a huge ass seafood meal in a bit so I've decided to list down, in no particular order, the high(and low)lights for the year:

1. Tim grew a belly which he is now very determined to get rid of. The year's excessive eating and drinking has resulted in a belly that is pregnant-Demi-Moore-on-the-cover-of-Vanity-Fair worthy!! Get rid of this belly, I must!

2. Tim found God again (well, technically, he'd never lost God; more like lost sight of him a bit too often!!) through going to Young Person's Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). Admittedly, Tim is not very young anymore. Nonetheless, there is still much to be thankful for and going for BSF has really given Tim some focus and made his life that much better. Tim continues to be thankful and continually amazed at how blessed his life has been.

3. Tim finally made that long-awaited trip back to the UK to say hi to his mates there! The trip was way too short and way too expensive but it was well worth it, every second of it. Tim had forgotten just how much he'd missed seeing friendly faces like Alasdair, Sara, Neelesh (the person to whom my "blog dysfunction" is credited!!), Ishwin, Fi and Sean, Gina, Sam, Anthony, Bec, Kristina and everybody else whom not mentioned here. Tim now looks forward to the next time he returns to British soil, specifically St Andrews!

4. Tim's fragile heart got broken twice by the wrong girl (unintentionally though....oh well, one must live and learn). Still, this has all been part of the big plan which leads us to point 5.

5. Tim found a place to put his heart. It's being held captive 16 hours behind Singapore Time and Tim is perfectly fine with this. Updates will be in order once the timing is right and the stars in the sky are aligned in accordance to the plane of my soon-to-be-flat-belly!

6. Tim did lots of travelling this year (Hong Kong, Laos, London, Berlin) and loved soaking up all the different culture on offer (like the anthropological sponge of culture I have every intention of turning into)!!!

That's about it for now. Looking back, I would say that this has been a pretty sweet year and I'm really looking forward to 2008. I'll blog about my resolutions shortly but for now, I'd just like to wish all you loyal readers a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!! May 2008 bring blessing, beats and bountiful biscuits to all of you! Peas Oot.
