Cooked fried rice (mum's recipe) for my flatmates today...it turned out to be a major success in spite of the hassle involved in getting it cooked...I'm always a bit apprehensive when it comes to cooking something for the first time(as most people probably are!)...thank goodness it turned out well....apart from that,not much to report...my sleeping pattern is starting to get a bit more normal now...well,somewhat. I just force myself to get out of bed every morning to return short loan books to the library by 9.45am...I find it half-sad/half-amusing that it's the fear of having to pay a fine which gets me out of bed and not the fact that it's better for me to get up in the mornings so that I can get stuff done and get some of the scarce sunlight we have here in sunny scotland! That said,i've always been a nocturnal sort of lad anyhow.....
