Last weekend was utterly insane, i.e. AMAZING.
Went with my mate Alasdair to Glasgow to see Carl Cox aka world's top Techno DJ in action at The Arches..boy,I've missed that place. To cut a long story short, my time in the Arches was nothing short of spectacular. Michel de Hey, the warm up dj was pretty damn good,he played a good selection of tunes to get us in the mood (nobody was there to have a bad time really.not for 21 bloody pounds)...when the big guy himself came on,the crowd went mental....dropping aural bombs like Alter Ego's Rocker and the Slam Mix of The White Stripe's 7NationArmy really did it for me I have to say. Plus, I spent a good part of the night dancing with Becca from London, a little girl with the prettiest smile and a good sense of humour. I have to admit that her way of dancing, which seemed to go hand-in-hand with mine, was a definite factor...it isn't everyday that I meet someone so up for dancing with a complete stranger and just having the best time on the dance floor....I have to stop before my head explodes.....Vena, if you read this, come back and dance with me!! Same goes for Fiona, the one who happens to be on sporean telly an awful lot these days. I miss you girls,my dancing girls!! *grin* Apart frm the arches, the rest of my time in Glasgow was great.I got to see my "glasgow family"...folk like Innes,Max(the Captain)Leon,Michelle and loadsa other folk.....I had me a great time...kudos to Ali for dragging me along. It was most definitely one of the best nights I've had in a club....and a wicked weekend it was too...
Right now,St Andrews is doing my head in.
