Just returned from a lovely evening with some very old friends (usually, I'd say that they're not old in age but it is true, we are getting on somewhat!)...after my little session in ye olde office gym, I made my way to the restaurant where I met up with some of the folk who have known me since I was a wee boy and whom I hope to continue knowing for the rest of my life! Eating dinner with them made it feel like I was back in Secondary School again! It'd been ages since we'd all seen one another but the chat flowed freely, almost as if we'd never parted ways. I suppose it was a precursor to this coming Saturday which is the reunion for the boys in my year from said Secondary School. I'm looking forward to it with equal amounts of trepidation and excitement; will it be a night of small talk, genuine banter or a bit of both?....aye, probably a bit of both.
