I'm getting used to sleeping in Jos' guest room, with its uber comfy double bed and duvet. The weather's nice enough at night for me to sleep just in my boxer shorts and I pray that it doesn't get much hotter!*grin* At the moment, it feels like me and Jos are flatmates, which is really cool cos I've never lived in a flat for more than a couple of days with another Singaporean (family does not count). Jos' flat, though, is in pristine condition so I move about it with a fair amount of trepidation. I can't move like a (drunken) student here, nay, I must move like a old-age pensioner. Bring me my zimmer frame and glass of port!
I must admit, that I'm really missing my flatmates and flat in St Andrews. On my way down to London, I fell into a strange state of part-sleep/part-depression/part-exhaustion. Just thinking about how this was the last time I'd be leaving St Andrews and not actually knowing when I'd see its lovely sights again made me feel like throwing myself out of the train. Good thing, then, that the windows were firmly fastened. It was fortunate as well that Chris, a former flatmate from the year before last, was sat next to me for a good part of the journey, joining in the general air of depression that seemed to have descended upon my seat and his. Oh well, let there be no regrets! The past 4 years have been good. Let the next 4 be even better, no matter where the wind takes me! Hurrah!
I just want to give massive shout outs and big ups to the folk in St Andrews who've made my stay there un-farkin-believably-amazing like Alasdair,Aidan,Sam,Matt,Sara,Fi,Kat,Fede,Gina,Jack,Harriet,Kristina,Micol,SamMySam,Sean,Eva,Sas....etc. This list is far too long to complete. If I didn't mention you, my sincerest apologies....If you're on ma facebook, then you probably qualify!
And to end off, I quote the inimitable Mr T: "Don't gimme no backtalk, sucka!"
